Trading

Trading lets two players swap items and gems through a safe, confirmed trade window. It's the backbone of the Pixelands economy.

How to trade

  1. Approach another player and start a trade request.
  2. Both players drag items — and any gems — into the trade window.
  3. Review the other side's offer carefully.
  4. Both players confirm. The trade only completes when both sides accept.
A trade never goes through unless both players agree, so nothing leaves your inventory without your confirmation.

Who can trade

Trading is one of the protected interactions in Pixelands. To keep the economy safe from bots and throwaway accounts, you generally need a registered, verified account to trade, build, or drop items. Walking and chatting are always free.

Trading worlds

Whole worlds can change hands through trading. A World Lock Key is a tradable deed — trade it to another player and they become the new owner of that world.

Staying safe

  • Always read the full offer before confirming — don't rush.
  • Be wary of anyone asking you to "trust trade" or hand items over outside the trade window. Legitimate deals happen inside it.
  • If an offer changes at the last second, cancel and start over.
