Every world has an owner. Lock yours, pick who gets to build in it, and grow whatever you like on top.
Own your world
World locks make a world yours. Hand out build rights to the people you trust and keep everyone else out.
Farm and crossbreed
Plant seeds, splice them, automate the whole operation with sprinklers and harvesters, and sell what comes out.
Fish competitively
Upgrade rods, chase weight records, and enter timed tournaments against everyone else on the server.

Bring a better pickaxe
All of it comes apart. Deeper rock is slower and drops better, so gear stops being cosmetic somewhere around here.
Mine and build
Take a world down to the bedrock, or terraform it into something you would show people.
Forge and craft
Smelt ore, forge gear, reforge it for better rolls, and chase set bonuses worth building around.
Wire it up
Logic gates, sensors, teleporters and actuators. Build doors that open for the right people, or contraptions nobody asked for.

Nothing enters the economy from nowhere. Every gem on the market came out of rock somebody broke, so prices are whatever players agree to pay.

Direct player trades, vending machines, and a player-run market with no house prices.

Gems, crops, fish and forged gear all hold value because someone had to go and get them.
